Q: How do I qualify as a member?
A: You will have a minimum 3 years’ experience in the industry / minimum 12 months for all juniors (coordinators, assistants and supporting roles). You will also provide email contacts for three industry referees.

Q: What does it cost?
A: Annual membership costs $650 for Sydney based crew and $450 for other cities. Installment plans are available: you can pay off your annual membership monthly – Sydney $59 per month/Other Cities $42 per month.

Q: What am I getting?
A: As a member you gain access to the TVCV network. With more than twenty years of industry experience, TVCV has established itself in only three years of operation as the “go-to” recruiter for the TV industry.

Q: How does it work?
A: Bookers and production companies come to TVCV to source their crew. When they post a job on our site, you receive an exclusive job alert via email, a minimum of 24 hours before the job is visible to the public. If you want to be considered for that job (and are qualified with matching credits), you can apply instantly. Most jobs are filled by members first, before ever going “public”.

Q: Which jobs will I have access to?
A: In your application form you’ll select which job alerts you’d like to receive. You can customise these preferences at any time through your profile page

Q: What’s a profile page?
A: You will have an online profile highlighting your skills and experience. These profiles are live and public, giving your credentials as much exposure as possible. Whenever you apply for a job, the first thing the booker will see is your profile, so you will keep it up to date at all times.

Q: What happens next?
A: Once you submit your application, your referees will be contacted directly. As soon as we hear back from them, your membership will be approved! You’ll receive an email with your payment options and how to get started.

Q: Can I list myself under more than one profession?
A: Yes, you can list yourself under a maximum of 3 professions as approved by TVCV (you must have these credits on your CV).

Q: Can I apply for work in more than one City?
A: Yes. However you must be prepared to travel at own cost and work as a ‘local’, unless otherwise specified.

Q: Can I cancel my membership?
A: You can cancel your membership at any time however you may be subject to a waiting period before being able to re-join and any fee increases will be applicable. Refer to our membership Terms & Conditions on our Join page for full details of cancellation policy.

Q: Can I join for less than 12 months?
A: Our memberships are yearly however under certain circumstances requests for shorter memberships will be considered.  Be advised that the advertised fees are annual rates and for a shorter term fee would be calculated at a higher monthly rate. Please contact us to find out more.

Q: Can TVCV negotiate my deals for me?
A: No, all deals are negotiated directly with your employers. However TVCV is here to offer advice and support.
