What will you be doing?
This position encompasses a dynamic range of audio production tasks including:
Mixing of on-air content to OP-59 spec.
Sound design.
Recording and editing of Voice Over artists for the purpose of on-air content.
File management of sessions and media.
Collaborating and following directions from producers for on-air content.
Prepping sessions ready for Voice Overs.

About you:
5+ years previous experience mixing, editing, and sound design.
Experience in editing and mixing with DAW systems (e.g. Pro Tools, Fairlight).
Working knowledge of DAW systems.
Understanding of signal flow and routing.
Creative with a strong attention for detail.
Delivering projects to a deadline.
Have effective communication skills with strong customer service focus.
Enjoys and embraces new technology.
Ability to learn, adapt and contribute to our continuously evolving practices and procedures.
Degree in audio/sound engineering

Audio Director

We are seeking to appoint an Audio Director to join our Broadcast Operations team, based in Melbourne, Docklands. This position works closely with the Production Operations Manager to maintain audio operations in the production control rooms and studios, as well as the Audio Post Production Suite and Voice Over Booth.

The position is responsible for both on-air audio operations as well as audio post production. This includes completing the mixing and sweetening of our local Promotional content, completing audio operations, including studio/OB set ups, and mixing News and other productions that utilise the facilities. You will also assist editing staff to ensure that correct audio procedures are adhered to.

To be successful in this position you will have previous experience working within a television broadcast environment, and be proficient using ProTools Audio Editing Software. You will also have a strong understanding of audio (digital and analog) mixing, and post production and operational experience. Experience with sound design matching producer requirements, delivering error free audio presentations, and knowledge of correct mixing techniques is highly regarded.
The successful applicant will posses exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to problem solve and work within a high pressure, fast paced environment. You will also be able to work effectively and professionally as part of a team.
