Nine Network have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join Nine Resources as an ENG / EFP Sound Recordist. Based in Sydney and reporting to the Resources Production Manager, the Sound Recordist is responsible for recording audio on location for short and long form
feature stories, live and pre-recorded interviews, mixing live and pre-recorded musical acts and mixing audio for live outside broadcasts.
Duties:
• Working on network productions including A Current Affair, Today Show, Today Extra, Footy
Show, Getaway and Network Specials.
• Operating the latest audio equipment for multi camera shoots including UHF Wireless
Microphones, hard drives, time code systems, wireless links and FTP procedures.
• Working closely with Camera Operators as a team and assisting with all equipment and
multi camera shoot set-ups.
• Working closely with technicians on live broadcasts with ON – AIR talent.
• Travelling on short notice for national and international assignments.
To be successful in this role the applicant must be:
• Highly motivated, a team player and possess good people skills.
• A self-starter and can work unassisted on the many and varied shoots.
• Have a flexible approach to work hours and able to work to tight deadlines.
