This role will be responsible for the management of Nickelodeon, Nick Jr. and Nick Play (plus other affiliated website) projects and digital campaign activities. This including managing project briefs, identifying deliverables, key milestones, contributing creatively to concepts whilst adhering to digital best practice. This also includes planning and managing digital activity to align with on-air and company calendar events taking into consideration the evolving digital landscape at all times.

Based in our Darlinghurst office, the key responsibilities for this role include:
• Write, film and edit short form content for Nickelodeon online platforms
• Request content pieces & reversion with graphics/audio.
• Keep abreast of the latest digital technologies
• Contribute thoughts, ideas and areas of improvement for overall company objectives

The successful candidate will have:
• Experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects) and graphic design software (Photoshop, illustrator, etc) required
• On-camera experience highly preferred
• Experience shooting content with camera highly preferred
• An understanding of website technologies,
• A passion for kids entertainment

Digital Shooter Producer

MTV is looking for a dynamic and creative self-shooting producer/editor to create digital video content for MTV reality shows.

The role would suit an experienced Assistant Producer/Preditor and will produce video content to support, enhance and extend linear show storylines. You’ll be working on an MTV series based on the Gold Coast for a 5 week period.

This person will be responsible for shooting and delivering content with MTV reality talent according to a brief set by the MTV Digital team (based in the UK), and will need to be a confident and self-sufficient digital producer, prepared to get stuck in within a linear production team.

It would particularly suit someone with a background in reality TV and entertainment programming.

You will be able to think on your feet and be reactive to capture the required content working around a tight linear production schedule. You’ll be familiar with Youtube-style content, the look and feel of digital video and the way this content is distributed across websites and social media platforms.

Ideally, you’ll be familiar with MTV shows and love all things viral and trending across the web.

Previous experience producing online content or TVC jobs without a production company (ie sourcing and managing crew, negotiating fees, scouting and securing locations etc), Some previous on-set experience (as a producer on in another capacity), Time management and personal organisation skills, The ability to self-motivate and be wholly responsible for every stage of a job – from client brief and kick-off, shoot, post-production and dispatch, The ability to manage production budgets in a transparent and efficient manner.
