Seven is looking for a Location Assistant to work very closely with the Location Manager to assist in finding and securing locations to be used on a television production. The Locations Assistant will assist in obtaining required council, police and other governmental permits as well as coordinating the logistics for the production to successfully complete its necessary work.
Responsible for sending out documentation to all relevant parties to ensure the locations are secured and fully informed of the productions activities;
Assisting in making enquiries regarding access, parking and location use;
Distributing maps and directions to locations, to ensure all crew reach the locations as directly, safely and quickly as possible;
Managing the location on the day and resolving practical or people-related problems as they arise;
Processing of invoices for locations related expenses;
Filing of all relevant location information;
Budget recording to accounts;
Full driver’s license and own vehicle.
Excellent and proven time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to understand, follow brief and communicate effectively.
Work effectively within a team.
Works well under pressure.
