Seven is expanding it’s internal digital video and production team. The team creates content that extends TV programming to social audiences to drive engagement and conversation around the show, the storyline, its cast and characters.

We want people who have stories to tell and ways of telling them to extend our content opportunities, series and brands across digital and social.
This is a 12-month contract position, based in Sydney, where you will work closely with our Home and Away production team and Seven’s creative and communications teams including Promos, Social, Marketing and Publicity.
The ideal candidate will “think video”, with an understanding of what works best online, and how to create it. They cannot be afraid of getting amongst our creative teams to share their perspective and then fully realise their ideas. You must have great organisational and time management skills and be able to create and deliver to content and publishing schedules.
Maybe you studied video journalism, or you have worked as a social content producer and created solid video content already. You are proficient at editing on Avid or Premier Pro or Final Cut Pro and – most importantly – confident that your story is worth telling. We want someone who can easily express their attitude and take on the world with video but who has a willingness to learn from our production teams. Above all, someone who is passionate about Australian TV and wants to see it touch audiences across many screens.

Experience in the television, digital, FMCG, agency or related industry highly regarded
You bring experience with design applications such as Adobe Photoshop, and some video editing skills using AVID machine or similar video editing software would be advantageous

The Multimedia Producer understands how to best formulate a video to be distributed through social media, with the intention of catching eyeballs in the newsfeed and being watched on mobile. They think creatively and can execute ideas autonomously.
The person in this role is capable of illustrating graphics, making memes, producing parodies, MLG videos and animated gifs. They have an eye for design and are capable of developing reactive content in a fast paced environment using the Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator).
