Leading theatrical agency representing creative artists ranging from the most established, highly respected household names to the developing talent of tomorrow has a fantastic opportunity to join the small team.
The Agent’s Assistant will support the Director of the agency in a small, relaxed office environment and is a vital behind the scenes role. The successful applicant will demonstrate work experience in a similar environment and have a genuine interest in the film and television industry.
Key Responsibilities include:
General day to day office duties
Edit and update agency website and social media as required
Coordinate client work diaries, contracts, deal memos and all confidential documents
Schedule meetings and travel for the director and clients of the agency
Answer incoming calls and be the face of the agency
Assist with corporate booking briefs, social media activity planning/scheduling for clients
Logistics liaison on behalf of clients with a variety of industry players ranging from publicists and production offices to local and international agents and producers
Read scripts as required
Training provided towards being an agent.
Tertiary degree (media & communications is desirable) and/or equivalent work experience/knowledge
Sound skills in Microsoft Office Suite (for Mac)
Strong digital technology skills including social media
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and highly organised
Ability to work autonomously as required
Experience with WordPress and MailChimp desirable
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Sense of humour!
