Can you develop simple ideas into a creative and surprising well told story?
We are looking for a Segment Producer with experience and knowledge of television production processes and program making. You will have excellent writing skills and most importantly be a passionate outdoor adventurist.
Responsibilities:
o Story generation and research
o Logistics
o Script writing
o On-location directing
o On-location staff management
o PR and client liaison
o Post production
Minimum Qualifications:
o Writing skills essential
o Previous media experience, with at least 2 years in scripting role
o Excellent organisational skills
o Strong verbal communication skills
o Capability to think quickly and problem solve
o Ability to self-prioritise and multi-task
o Ability to manage deadlines and report to several project managers
This role would suit a creative, self-motivated and energetic people person who is able to work flexible hours and can accommodate travel.
Our Production office is based at Channel 7 in Adelaide.
The contract would be starting ASAP for 3 months with the possibility of extension.
