WildBear Entertainment is one of the largest television production companies in Australia, servicing the broadcast and government sectors domestically and internationally.  We are seeking a Development Assistant to work in our Brisbane office.

Working in our creative culture, your skills and expertise will be encouraged to grow, providing you with opportunities in our fast growing company.  The Development Assistant has the responsibility of assisting the Executive Producer (Brisbane) to operate efficiently and meet all deadlines and reporting obligations for the sales and development activities of the Company.

Your role will include the following:
Co-ordinating development activities to support the most efficient use of the EPs time
As required creating or overseeing the creation of development materials including, research, writing and image sourcing for pitch artwork, sizzles and written proposals
Co-ordination of development shoots
Ensure the Executive Producer is supported in the development process.
Prepare and manage development budgets and expenditure on behalf of EP
Escalate development budget issues with the EP or Head of Development as appropriate.
Drive and facilitate the preparation and administration of funding submissions and financing documentation
Assist in monitoring and adherence to funding deadlines and contracting schedules as defined by EP and Development team.
Keep all development materials up to date
Work closely with the Development teams in Canberra and Sydney to ensure company development activities are consistent and supply support to the other offices as required.
Liaison with WildBear Legal team for the preparation of development legal documentation as required by the EP
Liaison with the WildBear Finance and Production team for the preparation and approval of project financial and schedule information.
Assist in managing relationships with external and internal creative teams
It is expected that all these responsibilities will be undertaken with diligence, care and intellectual application
You will have:
An understanding of the television production process
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Highly organised ability to prioritise, time manage, multi-task and work under pressure
High level computer skills preferably with some experience with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
Proactive, energetic, enthusiastic, can-do attitude
Razor sharp attention to detail & accuracy
Current Australian drivers license
Good personal presentation

The ability to be a positive team member whilst being able to work confidently without supervision
