About the Role
ABC News are looking for a Production Manager to provide high level budget, logistics and production planning and support to the NSW News and National teams.
Reporting to NSW News Editor, you will
Lead the team and be a point of contact for all production management matters
Assist the NSW News Editor to lead the publication, communication and reconciliation of rosters
Lead the reporting on expense trends
Ensure that planning and resources for the demand plan are met
Lead newsroom resource and training support including providing training to staff on SAP and other systems and processes
Create and maintain working relationships within the NSW News and National support staff teams
You will be an experienced Production Manager who is looking for their next challenge.
To be successful for the role you will have:
Significant experience in providing budgetary support and logistics/production planning in a similar role
Experience in invoice management and end of month reporting and processing
Highly advanced interpersonal and communication skills
The proven capacity to work effectively within a team environment
Advanced planning skills with the ability to identify and analyse staffing trends
