We are on the hunt for a Production Manager for our Cam Op Network who’s passionate about video communications across all channels.
This Production Manager role will work alongside the Customer Success Managers and wider Shootsta team, with a primary focus on managing camera operator growth and bookings for our client base.
As a successful applicant, you will provide exceptional customer service and have excellent organisation and communication skills. Production management experience is highly favoured, as is a passion for video and knowledge of the industry.
Videography experience will is very desirable, as advising clients and recognising requirements for a shoot will be part of the role. Your day-to-day will include fulfilment of and coordination across camera operator bookings, plus support Customer Success Managers where needed which includes camera equipment and logistics.
Key Responsibilities & Skills
Manage all camera operator bookings and their logistics – able to assess client briefs, pick up on complicated shoot requirements, select best camera operator for the job and liaise between client and camera operator to respond to all needs. Familiar with calendar software.
Accurately track and keep booking records up to date – work with the Accounts Team to ensure accurate and timely payment of our camera operators, and that clients are invoiced correctly. Familiarity with Google Sheets and/or Excel is a must.
Recruiting and vetting new camera operators to meet Shootsta standards – great researcher, understands skills required for good videography, comfortable building networks across multiple platforms, locations and social groups.
Onboard videographers and help design their journey with us – highly organised, a master of checklists, familiar with industry standards of quality, professionalism and DSLR video equipment, understands videographer needs and can think of creative ways to support them and keep them engaged.
Assist and advise Leadership team on the best use of technology to support network – collect ideas and feedback about how clients would like to book, pay and manage their bookings with Shootsta and understand what information and processes videographers prefer when working with us.
Other day-to-day support tasks
Answer phones and respond to email enquiries in a timely manner
Help manage camera equipment returns, repairs and requests
Assist CSMs to provide world-class customer support
Work with other Shootsta Departments to solve dynamic client issues
