This is an exciting opportunity in our Sydney office for a Production Manager to join the Nine Creative Promotions Department. The successful candidate will have a proven background in Production Management (Commercial, Pay TV and/or Production Company) and has preferably had experience working on Promotional shoots for a television network.

The Production Manager for the Promotions Department is responsible for all the organisational aspects of production scheduling, budgeting, booking of resources and facilities and management of crew and talent for Promotional shoots. He/she ensures that the production shoots run smoothly, meet deadlines and stay within budgets.
Promotional shoots include moving vision and photographic stills and generate promotional content for all platforms such as: on-air, digital, social and print promotional campaigns for Nine’s content. The promo shoots can vary from small to very large scale shoots with varying budgets.
The Production Manager reports in to the Head of Promotions and works closely with the Creative Director, Directors, Senior Creatives, crew and actors and on-air talent.
From time to time the Production Manager will also manage/produce Special Projects on behalf of the Nine Creative Team such as Network Re-brands and Sales Upfront Presentations.

Requirements:
 5+ years in a Production Manager role
 Knowledge of technical processes involved in television production including: camera, lighting, sound and editing
 Know how to ensure all necessary licences and clearances have been obtained for a production
 Highly developed communication skills
 Strong problem solving skills
 Able to work effectively and with diplomacy and sensitivity with all members of the production team, actors, presenters and members of the public
 Advanced analytical skills
 Strong budgeting and financial skills
 Precise attention to detail and have a methodical approach to work
 Excellent organisation skills
 Ability to interpret and realise the Director’s vision, financially, creatively and logistically
 Strong IT skills
 Understands how to comply with regulations relating to liability and indemnity when shooting at different locations
 Positive and professional manner
