Small Business Secrets is the only television program in Australia that focuses on the incredible and inspiring stories of the nation’s small to medium multicultural business owners and entrepreneurs.

Each week Small Business Secrets uncovers the secrets to running a successful business in Australia and provides information for businesses about how to tackle the challenges they face and take advantage of opportunities so they can grow their businesses.


You will:
Research story ideas and potential talent for interview
Log and transcribe shot material, maintain production rundowns and copyright logs, and source file footage from SBS News Library and other 3rd party providers.
Undertake work in a way that reflects and upholds SBS’s Charter, Vision and Values, fosters a positive and proactive work environment, and complies with SBS’s policies, procedures and practices
Be part of a team which delivers cross platform stories of the highest editorial standards that highlight multicultural businesses across Australia.


The successful candidate will have proven experience researching and developing storylines, story topics and interviewing candidates suitable for the program. This includes fact-checking, sourcing statistics, assisting with pre-interviews of talent

You must love attention attention to detail; and what sets you apart from the rest is your ability to communicate, where you will liaise with our internal stakeholders, such as providing deliverables support to Publicity, and working with Human Resources, Finance, Corporate Services and Broadcast Operations.
