What are we looking for?
Breakthrough is looking for a Production Researcher in our Australia office to help us create high quality film content for our campaigns.
As the Researcher, you will work closely with Producers throughout the production process, providing administrative and organisational support on a range of campaigns include one social channel;
Work under the supervision of the Senior Content Editor or Assistant Producer to compile treatment ideas, questions and information to build engaging shareable stories that will challenge the status quo;
Deal with contributors and research contributors information and stories online;
Assist with setting up shoots by working closely with the Producer Director or Assistant Producer. Finding locations, props etc;
Be working closely with our PC to organise the locations and be involved in every aspect of the shoot.
What we need from you…
The ability to construct engaging research to base treatments and stories upon with a keen eye for detail;
An interest in genres that appeal to a young, male audience such as sports, comedy and gaming;
Passion for social change/current affairs is also desired;
Strong creativity, innovation and ideas generation;
Ability to easily adapt within a fast paced environment;
Superb organisational and interpersonal skills;
Able to work on own initiative, manage own workload priorities and stay motivated when working alone;
Ability to foster co-operative, positive working relationships with all internal teams.
