Segment Producer

Our award winning Children’s production unit in Brisbane are on the hunt for a Segment Producer to join the creative team in the children’s department.This role will be working on a variety of shows currently being produced including Totally Wild and our brand new show Gamify.

What will I be doing?
Producing entertaining and creative television that is of interest to a tween and a teen audience, working on a variety of shows such as Totally Wild and Gamify.
Researching, writing and off-line editing factual stories as allocated
Writing and off-line editing narrative driven scenes and stories
Completing supplementary material for stories, scenes and episodes (graphics requests, administrative paperwork etc)
Contributing new story, plot and segment ideas
Field producing factual stories, dramatic scenes and physical challenges as required
Come up with heaps of awesome ideas for the show
Working with an amazingly talented group of people
Understandably we will need you to have previous experience in creative writing for TV and be all over the requirements of Children’s Television Standards and copyright regulations. Previous experience directing talent and segment producing would be highly advantageous.

Our award winning Children’s production unit in Brisbane are on the hunt for a Series Producer to lead the national children’s program Scope.

As the Series Producer you will have experience in producing or directing children’s and/or factual television and be responsible for fulfilling the creative brief and direction of the program. We want someone who is highly passionate about running their own show and helping that show to evolve.

You will want to produce outstanding, informative and entertaining science programming for all those budding young scientists out there. Science communication experience will also get our bunsen burners bubbling over with excitement.
